We are getting back to our Wednesday & Sunday Walks
They normally start at 10:00am. and finish around 3:30pm. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy on-route. Routes are usually 10-12 miles and are outlined in the Group's Walks programme, published bi-monthly. The Groups' walk details are also available on the Ramblers Association website (click on the photo on the left). Bring your own packed lunch and drinks, as we usually stop at a scenic (or sheltered!) spot on route - rather than a café or pub.

Summertime Thursday Evening walks
Normally start around 6-7pm. Routes are usually around 4-5 miles and frequently followed by a debriefing in a local hostelry....

How to Join BHR
Don't worry if you're not yet a member of the Ramblers, just find a walk on the Group's walks programme that suits you and come along, arriving about 10-15 minutes before the start time and make yourself known to our walk leader. If you enjoy the walk and want to carry on walking with the group, join the Ramblers (click RA Logo) and enjoy the benefits of both our local branch and country wide walks access.

Please make sure..
....you are fit enough to undertake the walk that you intend to join. Please have suitable clothing and footwear for the walk. Leaders may refuse to accept participants who in their opinion are inadequately equipped or unfit. Dogs are not allowed on the Group's walks.

Safety First.....
.....for your own and other's safety, please abide by any advice and instructions given by the walks leaders. Though walking is one of the safest outdoor activities, no activity is completely without risk and it is your responsibility to behave sensibly and to minimise the potential for accidents to occur.
